OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2010. Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty), securities of which are present in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) official list, informed KASE that its employees visited in Mangistau Region Zhanaozen town the orphanage, which participates in the "People league" social project supported by Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan. The bank employees presented children new sports kits to the amount over than half million tenge.
Other 15 orphanages across the country also received sports kits.
It is necessary to emphasize other bank supported orphanages and war veterans. The bank supported creation on the base of 18 orphanages of the country training centers, where were trained 982 children. With the support of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan 37 children will receive higher education within the special program "People Students".

In 2009 the bank allocated 9,750 euro to the Ayala Fund for procurement of respiratory system for Almaty prenatal center.

Also, Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan in 2008 allocated KZT20 m for natural disaster and earthquake victims in South and West Kazakhstan. In 2009, allocated KZT1 million to support the flood victims in Shanyrak micro-district and KZT 10 million to the flood victims of Almaty region Aksu district.
