The balance is struck in the quarterly contest for the Best Crew title among companies that provide capital and current workover services to TNK-BP subsidiaries in Orenburg. Based on the results of Q4 2009, the first place among capital workover crews was taken by Crew 52 of CJSC Samotlorneftepromkhim, the second place by Crew 106 of “Upravlenie po kapitalnomu remontu skvazhin” (UKRS) LLC, and the third place by Crew 64 of LLC Tekhnefteservis.

The first place in the Best Current Workover Crew category was taken by Crew 220 of “UKRS” LLC, the second place by Crew 219 of “UKRS” LLC, and the third place by Crew 223 of “UKRS” LLC.

According to Georgy Sadetskiy, Regional Manager, Drilling and Capital Workover Project, OJSC Orenburgneft, the awards practice is an element of service culture improvement.

‘The quality of contractors’ performance undoubtedly improved after the contest had been introduced, — Sadetskiy says. – This is witnessed by the trends of performance indicators in 2009: multiple reduction of downtime through the contractors’ fault and substantial decline of failure rates and workover time’.
