OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2010. In February 2010 OJSC KAMAZ cut prices for a number of spare parts for its trucks.

The price was changed for 117 most saleable spare parts which are in consumers’ fixed demand. The prices for them were reduced from 4 to 80 percent.

This decision was made to stimulate the sales of brand-name spare parts produced by KAMAZ and its business partners to license contracts. It’s necessary to reverse the situation on the spare parts market which, as a rule, worsens in the crisis because of the flow of low-quality “grey” products made underground, with the help of obsolete equipment, not complying with process requirements and technical documents.

“We intend to increase the share of our proprietory products on the spare parts market, – Ashot Arutyunyan, Director of Marketing and Advertising of OJSC KAMAZ explained. – Only the use of original spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles secures dependable service and continuous operation of equipment over a long period of time and enables to use all warranty services in certified service centers of KAMAZ and its partners.”
