OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2010. Several companies have posted the new prices for the gasoline at their panels: A95 - 13.9 leis per liter, A92 - 13.5 leis. The cost of the diesel fuel and liquid gas has not changed. It is expected that this week the gasoline prices will be increased by all companies.

Since the beginning of the year, the cost of the gasoline has increased by 9%. As the representatives of the oil importers’ companies note, increase in the gasoline prices is due to the oil quotes at the world exchanges. In turn, oil becomes more expensive due to strengthening of dollar against euro, against the backdrop of economic crisis in Greece.

Last time the retail prices of gasoline in Moldova changed on February 10, 2010. At that time, the barrel of Brent crude oil cost USD 72.69, and one ton of gasoline PLATT's PremUni - USD 664.
