The General Director of OJSC TANECO Kh. Bagmanov reported on February 2010 results and plans for March. He noted the efficiency of some key decisions taken on the previous HQ Meeting attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan R. Minnekhanov namely the fulfillment of priority works included to monthly work releases and assigning personal responsibility for timely commissioning of the First Start up Complex to the managers of general contractors and subcontractors.
The weather in February was not very favorable for construction nevertheless the scope of construction and installation works considerably increased for many items. Totally 2 billion 120 million rubles were disbursed within the month. Thus underground connections work progress increased to 71% compared to January, overhead pipeline progress to 36%. Installation progress of interconnecting pipe racks increased 2.5 times, cable – 37 times.
The manpower has significantly been increased at the construction site. The total growth among all the contractor companies for the month made nearly 1500 people.
The accounting month promises to be very intensive – there has been planned to disburse 2 billion 651 million rubles. To perform the program of March, the following challenges were put for the contractor companies:
ООО NeftegasEngineering, PSО Kazan, JSC KamGesEnergoStroy, JSC TatStroy – to install
ООО UK GlavneftegasStroyServis – to install
ООО INVENT to perform a temporary system for storm water receipt by 20 March;
JSC TatElektroMontazh to install
In April and May the performance of construction works at the Site will step over the point of three billion rubbles. Even moreso, the entire conditions have been created at the Complex to efficiently work and fully meet the Baseline Schedule. JSC Tatneft performs their obligations in full scale and secures timely financing.
Specific challenges were put for the builders by R.N.Minnikhanov. He highlighted a need to increase manpower engaged at the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex to 10 000 people since without mobilization of the sufficient number of people, the contractors will not manage the assigned objective. The Prime-Minister also requested to carefully schedule work of the designers and to provide the highest quality of the presented documentation. The equipment suppliers were assigned to work scrupulously, basing on the challenges put for all the participants of the Project execution. R.N. Minikhanov also encharged with a task to provide the well-defined treasury system of payments to contractors.
The managers of design and contractor companies gave reports on the work performed as well.
