OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2010. Participation of the united stand of Karelian tourist organizations in the Vth anniversary International tourist exhibition Intourmarket – 2010 was crowned with success. Karelia's exposition caused a great interest, Karelian tourist products are always in keen demand among the Russian and foreign tourists.

Right after the Intourmarket exhibition on March, 17-20 for the 17th time Moscow will host MITT – 2010, the largest international tourist exhibition in Russia and countries of Eastern European. The main tourist forum of the country is traditionally held in Central Expocentre on Krasnopresnenskaya quay. Professionals of tourist industry say that summer begins in March – it begins at MITT. Annually MITT convenes more than 3500 companies from 120 countries and regions of the world.

The scope of the exhibition implies a rich business program at participation of the leading experts of the branch, consisting of international conferences, seminars, master-classes and other activities devoted to modern lines and topical problems of development of the world industry of hospitality.

As a tradition, Karelia takes part in the Moscow International Travel and Tourism exhibition. This year at the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic their offers at the exhibition will be presented by more than 15 tourist companies and hotel organizations from Karelia. Active participation of enterprises of tourist industry of Karelia in the spring tourist exhibitions allows to solve successfully the task of attraction of inbound tourist traffic during the high summer season and through the year, increase of competitiveness of the republic's tourist product.
