OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2010. Participants of the seminar discussed prospects development in the field of wind energy projects in Astana.

According to organizers, the main purpose of the event is to increase the capacity of Kazakhstani specialists in this field.

During the seminar, Danish experts, invited for sharing experiences in Astana, briefed participants on the practice of wind energy projects in their country, and also spoke about the public policy of Denmark in supporting the use of wind energy.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries, agencies, national companies, associations, businesses, diplomatic missions and others.

The seminar was organized within the framework of the UNDP, Global Environment Fund “Kazakhstan- initiative of market development of wind energy.”
