OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2010. Delegation of Air China Cargo airline is visiting Novosibirsk from 15 to 21 March.

During today's visit representatives of the airline Air China Cargo inspected the infrastructure of the airport, to explore the feasibility for ground handling and aviation security, inspected the rescue equipment and work of the cargo terminal complex.

- We saw a great potential airport, we were pleased a positive and energetic approach to business employees, aviation technical personnel, - said Mr. Lee Chun Contracts Division promotion services manager. - We hope that the subsequent performance of our flights the airline will receive services at the airport at the same high level.

In the end of the first day visit in the airport of Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) was the signing of agreements on bilateral cooperation, in which the JSC Airport Tolmachevo becomes the first airport in Russia, where the airline Air China Cargo will perform a technical landing. At present, permission has already received to perform the first seven charter aircraft B-747-400F Air China Cargo Airlines on the route Shanghai - Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) - Frankfurt. In the future the airline plans to translate these flights on a regular basis.

- This year we plan to pass the second stage of the warehouse of temporary storage of the cargo terminal, because we understand that the air cargo carrier needs an infrastructure for efficient handling of cargo, - said deputy general director for Economics and Commercial Activity, Abdul Kusaev. - Negotiations with Air China Cargo took place long ago and it is important to note that at present the airport Tolmachevo has all the technical ability to service these flights.
