OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2010. The project is to be implemented by EuroChem, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the Tula Region and Novomoskovsk Administrations, and FSUE Sport-Engineering, as a public-private partnership within the framework of the “Construction of Sports and Recreational Facilities” programme implemented by the Russian political party United Russia.

At a seminar on innovations in the construction of sports facilities with artificial ice, held as part of the exhibition, EuroChem’s project was praised by experts and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Sports and Tourism and FSUE Sport-Engineering.

Promotion of sports in the cities where its enterprises are located is a constant concern for EuroChem.

The project in Novomoskovsk covers not only the construction of the ice stadium, but also the creation of an ice hockey sports school for children and teenagers based in the stadium. Representatives of the SKA Saint Petersburg ice hockey club who took part in the seminar spoke ardently in support of setting up the sports school and promised to help supply the new school with teaching aids and professional staff.
