OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2010. Belarus’ imports of soft drinks decreased, and of mineral water increased year-on-year in January 2010, according to the State Customs Committee.

Imports of soft drinks, including mineral water, still or aerated, with sugar or sweeteners were at 224,025 decaliters in the period, down 32.8% on the year, worth USD 1.478 million, down 40.4%.

Belarus imported 144,907 decaliters of drinks of this type from Russia, down 45%, worth USD 1.061 million, a decrease of 41.3%.

Imports from Ukraine were at 76,562 decaliters, up 24.4%, worth USD 389,000, down 13.8%.

Imports of water, including natural or artificial mineral water, still or aerated, without sugar or sweeteners were at 31,135 decaliters, up 44.3%, worth USD 186,900, up 130% on the year in January.
