OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2010. Ingosstrakh paid out USD 200,000 as insurance indemnity for losing the rudder at the motor vessel “Lord”. The vessel was insured in the company under hull insurance policy.

On February 19, 2010, when going from the port of Kandla (India) to the port of Hai Phong (Vietnam) with agricultural products, on its way to the Strait of Malacca the motor vessel "Lord" for unknown reason lost its rudder blade. The vessel could not proceed independently which resulted in engagement of a towboat.

Upon the insurant’s request Ingosstrakh paid out insurance indemnity to compensate the towboat services.
