OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2010. “Engineering Center UES” has successfully undergone certification audit for compliance with international standard ISO 9001:2008.

The result of just completed certification audit confirm that quality management system developed and introduced at “Engineering Center UES” and its branch offices is fully compliant with all the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008.

Audit team of certification authority “Intercertifica-TUV” jointly with “TUV Thuringen” (Russian partner of a German certification authority TUV CERT of a registered company TUV Thuringen e.V. (Germany) completed the certification examination as required. Team of accredited experts scrutinized the operation background of the company and its branches, examined all the required documentation, held multiple audits with heads of departments and the company staff. The purpose of certification audit was to confirm that the efficiently functioning system corresponds with the set tasks and quality requirements.

Based upon the certification audit results, “Engineering Center UES” received the new certificate ISO 9001:2008 for the three-year term. This document verifies conformity with the quality standards in the area of design survey, startup and adjustment operations and rendering engineering services to hydro-, thermal- and unconventional electric energy facilities.

In the area of further development of quality management system, “Engineering Center UES” is planning to upgrade and boost up its efficiency.
