OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2010. A new position has been created at OAO IrkutskEnergo and Evgeny Fedorov has been appointed Executive Director of the Company. He is responsible for the operating management and the investment programme implementation.

Short Biography

Evgeny Fedorov was born in 1978 in Obninsk, Moscow region. He graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and received his PhD (Economics) at the Moscow Energy Institute.

Evgeny Fedorov commenced his career in the Energy Efficiency Center of RAO UES of Russia. In 2002, he was appointed Head of the Power Engineering Department of RUSAL responsible for the implementation of the joint project Boguchany Energy and Metallurgical Association (construction of Boguchany HPP and Boguchany Aluminium Smelter) of RUSAL and RusHydro. In 2008, Evgeny Fedorov was appointed Director of the Energy Division and, later, Engineering and Construction Division of UC RUSAL (OOO Russian Engineering Company, over 20,000 staff).
