OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. The Russian Tennis Federation once again chose Ingosstrakh to be its partner and insurer. Ingosstrakh will be the Partner of the Davis Cup 1/8 finals to be held in Moscow on March 5-7, 2010. Moreover, Ingosstrakh will be the Partner of the Federations Cup matches which will be held in Moscow in 2010 (except for the final), and will be the insurer and General Partner of the Kremlin Cup in autumn 2010.

The official execution of the cooperation agreement between Ingosstrakh OJSIC and the Russian Tennis Federation was held today in the Luzhniki Sports Complex. The document was signed by Shamil Tarpishchev, the President of the Russian Tennis Federation, and Ilya Solomatin, the Vice-President of Ingosstrakh.

During the ceremony Ilya Solomatin said: “It is a very important event for us as we have been cooperating with the Russian Tennis Federation, one of the most important sports associations in Russia and one of the most acknowledged abroad, for nine years already. We are glad to support and contribute to the development of Russian tennis, and we are happy for the success of our athletes in the latest years: the victories at the Federations Cup, Davis Cup, Kremlin Cup, the triumph of Russian female tennis players at the 2008 Olympic Games, and the victory of the members of the Russian student team at the 2009 International Universiade in Belgrade. I hope that our cooperation will continue to grow and that many new victories await Russian athletes.”

Shamil Tarpishchev, the President of the Russian Tennis Federation, said that now millions of Russians love tennis for its dynamicity and excitement, its capacity to lift the spirits. “I am very happy with the growing popularity of this game. Tennis has become a lifestyle for many people. Undoubtedly, it would not be possible without the participation of the Russian business. I am sure that, thanks to our cooperation, tennis tournaments will continue to gather millions of supporters, and new Russian stars will rise to defend Russia’s honor at the most prestigious international competitions,” he added.

The cooperation between the Russian Tennis Federation and Ingosstrakh has a long history. The partnership with the Kremlin Cup has become a good tradition for our company: we have been the General Partner of the tournament for nine consecutive years. In February 2010 Ingosstrakh supported the tournament “Tennis Legends in Moscow”, which took place in the Luzhniki Sports Complex, for the first time in Moscow. In 2009 Ingosstrakh was a Partner of the Davis Cup quarter-finals Russia-Czech Republic. Previously we had been a Partner of the Davis Cup quarter-final Russia-Serbia (2008), the semifinal Russia-Germany (2007) and of the final Russia-Argentina (2006). In 2006-2007, the famous trophy, during its permanence in Russia, was insured by Ingosstrakh. About one hundred tournaments of the Russian tennis tour, twenty of which were international, were held with the Ingosstrakh’s support. Moreover, in 2008 Ingosstrakh supported the official celebrations dedicated to the centenary of the Russian Tennis Federation. The celebration included tournaments with the participation of veterans, juniors, wheelchair tennis players and journalists.
