OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. Ingosstrakh OJSIC and Reestr OJSC entered into a contract for comprehensive insurance of risks related to registrar activity.

The activities performed by Reestr OJSC insured under the insurance contract are the following:

keeping registers of holders of registered securities;

acting as the counting commission at general meetings of shareholders;

providing transfer agent services for registrars of holders of registered securities;

keeping registers of creditors’ claims and holding of creditors’ meetings;

as a Participant of electronic document interchange (EDI Participant).

Insured events under the contract are losses caused to the insured or to third parties as a result of unlawful actions of third parties or of the insured’s employees, including electronic and computer crimes, operations with forged documents, securities, cash and other similar events. The policy also covers losses resulting from unintentional mistakes and omissions made by the insured's managers and employees in the course of their professional activity.
