OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. In January – February 2010, Kryukov RailCar <KVBZ UK BUY> has increased its freight car output by more than three times as compared to 2009, – to 1,162 freight cars. The Company has produced two passenger railcars for this period of time (this result is four times lower than the Company output in 2009).   Talking about metro railcars, we should say that at this moment KVBZ is fulfilling the Kyiv Metro order for 25 units.

Millennium Capital would like to point out that KVBZ capacity utilization reached almost 90%. The management of the Company puts a stake on freight cars manufacture, keeping in mind the acute transportation demand from industrial enterprises and the improvement in the rolling stock in Ukraine and in the CIS countries. One should also note a reduction in demand for metro railcars from the Kyiv Metro: this year, this monopoly is to purchase 105 railcars: 25 units of KVBZ manufacture and 80 units contracted on orders from Russia.
