Domodedovo Town Authority Eliminated Antimonopoly Violation
OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. The Authority of Domodedovo Town District, the Moscow region, voluntarily eliminated an antimonopoly violation (earlier the Town Authority unreasonably prevented activities of economic entities), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
At the end of 2009, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against Domodedovo Town Authority for the signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition".
The case was initiated upon a complaint from "Druzhba" Group of Companies" CJSC - developers building residential houses in Domodedovo.
"Druzhba" Group of Companies" CJSC received technical specifications for residential water supply and drainage, with an additional task for construction of an off-site water line.
In its turn, Domodedovo Town Authority approved the boundaries of the site of land of "TKF Atlant" Ltd. in view of the actual boundaries of land use.
The new water line was supposed to be put through the site of land of "TKF Atlant" Ltd., which made it impossible for "Druzhba" Group of Companies" CJSC to complete water line construction in accordance with the project documentation. "Druzhba" Group of Companies" CJSC repeated approached Domodedovo Town Authority, but the situation remained unresolved for two years.
In course of the case investigation, Domodedovo Town Authority made the necessary arrangements enabling "Druzhba" Group of Companies" CJSC to complete construction of the water line and execute technical specifications.
FAS Russia considered these actions as voluntary elimination of the antimonopoly violations and terminated the proceedings.
