OREANDA-NEWS. March 9, 2010. Chernogorsky Surface Mine (OOO SUEK-Khakassia) put into operation 4 new BeLAZ 75131 dump trucks equipped with Cummins engines. The investment project is aimed at supporting the production capacity of Chernogorsky Surface Mine; the funds allocated for the project amount to nearly 150 mln roubles.

"The new dump trucks will replace outdated BeLAZ trucks in the Chernogorsky Surface Mines fleet, and will help streamline removal of waste rock from Chernogorsk coal-cleaning plant," said Alexey Keelin, the General Director of SUEK Khakassia.

In 2009 Chernogorsk Surface Mine hit the record of 4.5 mln tonnes in coal production.
