Belarusian Government Raises Investment Attraction Targets for Admins
OREANDA-NEWS. March 4, 2010. The Belarusian government has increased foreign investment attraction targets for state agencies and concerns 72% to U.S. USD 5.644 billion, including USD 2.777 billion in capital investments, under resolution #169 of the Council of Ministers dated February 10, 2010.

Minsk city administration is expected to attract USD 1 billion in investments, Belneftekhim USD 840 million, Energy Ministry USD 650 million, Minsk region administration USD 361 million, Architecture and Construction Ministry USD 300 million, Industry Ministry USD 230 million, Transport Ministry USD 200 million, Bellesbumprom USD 100 million, Communication Ministry USD 90 million and Belgospischeprom USD 70 million.
Brest, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev region administration will have to attract USD 320 million in investments each, and Vitebsk region administration USD 314 million. The figures include the investments to be attracted by the six free economic zones, USD 100 million each.
Naftan plans to attract USD 351 million in foreign investments, Brimston-Bel USD 191 million in investments for the construction of a waste incineration plant, Grodnoenergo USD 176.6 million, Minskenergo USD 165 million.
