OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2010. The Ministry of Finance reports that budget expenditures turned out less than the 2008 figure by AZN 207.2 million or 1.9%.

“In 2009 State Budget deficit totaled AZN 241.1 million (USD300 million),” the Ministry said.

In 2009 budget expenditures on financing for social projects (in science, public health, education, social protection, and culture) totaled 26.2% (AZN 2.76 bn) of budget expenditure part. Compared to 2008, this indicator grew by 19.5% (AZN 450.4 million).

In 2009 State Budget profitable part was implemented by AZN 10.325 bn or 84.8% of the forecast of AZN 12.177 bn.
