OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2010. In 2009, overall and own production reduced by 11.1%.

SOCAR reports that in January 2010 overall production totaled 669 million cu m (versus 657.2 million cu m in December and 700.7 million cu m in January of 2009), including 610.1 million cu m (against 598.79 million cu m and 644.46 million cu m respectively) by NGDUs and 58.9 million cu m (versus 58.42 million cu m and 56.25 million cu m respectively) by the joint ventures (JVs) and operating companies (OCs).

For 2009, overall production totaled 7.327 bn cu m with own production of 6.8 bn cu m and JVs and OCs’ share of 526.27 million cu m. The 2009 gas production program for SOCAR totaled 8 bn cu m. In 2008 overall oil production totaled 8.236 bn cu m of gas while forecast was 8 bn cu m. At the same time production by NGDUs reached 7.646 bn cu m and 590.65 million cu m by JVs and OCs.

In January 2010 gas acceptance from JVs and OCs made up 5.1 million cu m (versus 5.45 million cu m in December and 6.28 million in January of 2009).

In 2009 acceptance totaled 65 million cu m versus 68.72 million cu m in 2008.

In January 2010 SOCAR’s gas reception from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block made up 250.1 million cu m (versus 243.03 million cu m and 301.42 million cu m respectively) and for 2009 3.9 bn cu m against 2.1 bn cu m in 2008.

Gas reception from Shah Deniz for January 2010 totaled 219 million cu m (versus 209.59 million cu m and 158.19 million cu m respectively) and for 2009 - 747.38 million cu m versus 2.129 bn cu m in 2008.

Gas delivery totaled 981.2 million cu m (versus 926.07 million cu m and 1.1 bn cu m respectively) and for 2009 - 9.925 bn cu m against 11.586 bn cu m in 2008.
