OREANDA-NEWS. March 2, 2010. RUSAL (SEHK: 486), (EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, announces the appointment of Andrey Volvenkin as the head of the Engineering and Construction Division.

Andrey Volvenkin has held various executive positions at RUSAL. From 2003 to 2005 he worked as General Director of RUSAL’s in-house Service Centre. From 2005 he has served as the Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance Director at RusEngineering Co., which is part of RUSAL’s Engineering and Construction Division.

In his new position of the head of the Engineering and Construction Division Andrey Volvenkin will be responsible for improving maintenance efficiency across RUSAL’s operations and will supervise construction and modernisation projects.

The current head of the Engineering and Construction Division Eugueny Fedorov has been appointed to an executive position at Irkutskenergo, a company of Evrosibenergo within EN+ Group, the largest shareholder of UC RUSAL.
