It was said by representatives of the delegation of the Office of coordinator of aid of the USA for Europe and Eurasia at the meeting in Chisinau with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Moldova Valeriu Lazar, it was informed at the Ministry of Economy’s press service.

They said the increase of the technical assistance had become possible thanks to the new political conditions. The meeting’s goal was to discuss the correlation of the assistance programs of the USA in Moldova with the new priorities set in the country’s economy.

Valeriu Lazar emphasized the importance of the delegation of the Office of coordinator of aid of the USA for Europe and Eurasia to Chisinau in the context of preparation for the sitting of the consulting group of Moldova’s donors to take place on March 24 in Brussels.

The director of the Office of coordinator of aid of the USA for Europe and Eurasia Kathy Kavalek marked the mission’s openness for keeping the constructive dialogue in future, emphasizing that economic fields presented as priority ones by the Ministry of Economy for realization of technical assistance projects are urgent and coincide with the directions determined by the Office of coordinator of aid of the USA for Europe and Eurasia: promotion of the state-private partnership mechanism, development of business-incubators, development of industrial parks and others.
