OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2010. JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) is continuing to fulfil the investment program for modernization of production complex. Currently, ZTR is dealing with upgrading of painting production, that represents an integral part of the transformer production activity. Appearance of the transformer equipment and service life of paint coating is one of the quality factors and production reliability.  

Total value of commissioned objects in painting production made up about USD 1.2 mln. 

The first and the second starting complexes have been commissioned. Two paint-drying chambers and paint-preparation section are included into the first starting complex of paint production reconstruction project. Mounting of the third paint-drying chamber is planned for the second quarter of the current year; construction and assembling works are in process now.  

Commissioning of the paint-drying chambers will ensure creation of additional production capacities in the painting section, reduction of technological cycles at the expense of mechanization of operations, increase of coat quality, and improvement of the salable condition of the products.

The second commissioned starting complex includes reconstruction of heating system and ventilation of completing and painting section at the welding workshop; this facilitates the normative requirements of technological process as related to air temperature and air exchange in the working areas that is also ensures increase of the products’ quality.
