OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2010. Gazpromneft-Khantos has brought into operation a new production tubing diagnostic and repair manufacturing complex. The complex consists of two workshops and was branched out in the Southern license part of Priobskoye field. The opening ceremony was attended by General Director of OOO Gazpromneft-Khantos Sergey Byshov, Deputy General Director of OOO Gazpromneft-Nefteservis Radif Tuktarov and Managing Director of OOO Noyabrsk Central Pipe Yard Evgeniy Unyatitskiy.

The operating process in the new workshops is completely automatic. Control is performed by means of a computer terminal, and one operator controls several machines. This technology represents the know-how of the production unit, as normally the major part of production tubing repair operations is performed by hand. Previously, Gazpromneft-Khantos’ equipment used to be taken for reconstruction to Nefteyugansk and Noyabrsk. Commissioning of the workshop straight at the field will enable the production unit to annually save about 250 mln rubles and reduce the period required for repairs of oil equipment.

The works at the manufacturing complex are performed by Noyabrsk Central Pipe Yard Service Company (a subsidiary of Gazpromneft-Nefteservis). At the initial stage, Gazpromneft-Khantos will maintain own equipment only, whilst in the future it is expected that the equipment from other oil producing companies operating within the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region will be taken in for repairs as well.
