OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2010. Visiting session of presidium of Tatarstan State Council chaired by Mr. Mukhametshin F. was held in Nizhnekamsk.

Before plenary meeting the deputies visited Refinery and Petrochemical Complex facilities, residential area being constructed for the builders and TANECO’s employees, guest house Shifaly.

The deputies were greatly impressed by the scope of construction and the outlooks of the new production which will considerably influence the economics of Tatarstan Republic when it will be started.

The head of municipal district Mr. Metshin A. delivered a report on social and economical development of Nizhnekamsk.

The General Director of OJSC TANECO Mr. Bagmanov apprised the visitors of Refinery and Petrochemical Complex progress. Mr. Bagmanov answered numerous questions of presidium members related to ecological problems, human resourcing, equipment procurement.

The General Director of ОАО Managing Company Kamaglavstroy Mr. Samilov apprised of contractors’ activity. He noted that all the difficulties arising on the construction site are eliminated in due course and shall not influence baseline schedule and start up of step 1A1 on October 10, 2010.

The General Director of ОАО Tatneft, the deputy of State Council of Tatarstan Mr. Takhautdinov propounded that Tatarstan parliamentarians should participate in the development of federal government regulations providing privileges for big innovation projects. According to Mr. Mukhametshin he had already encharged relevant committees with a task. Following the results of discussions the presidium of Tatarstan State Council suggested that the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan should consider the issue and propose amendments to the Law of Tatarstan Republic on Investment Activities in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Some other issues were also considered at the meeting.
