OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2010. At the opening ceremony Rovnag Abdullayev, the president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), said that 60 million tons of oil and 35-40 bn cu m of gas would be produced in Azerbaijan by 2015.

“The country observes annual growth of production. In 2009 production reached 50.4 million tons of oil (+6 million tons against the 2008 index) and 23.7 bn cu m of gas (+286 million cu m),” he said.
