The extended session of "Uzbekenergo" board has taken place in SJSC "Uzbekenergo", it was devoted to the results of social and economic development of SJSC "Uzbekenergo" enterprises, realization of anti-recessionary measures, the program of modernization and technical and technological re-equipment in 2009, and to the measures on provision of sustainable development of the branch in 2010, reported the press-centre of Uzbekenergo.

In the past year the Company activity was directed to performance of the tasks following from priorities of the economy development in 2009, specified by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Government session.

The company provided the sustainable growth of energy production, performance of measures of the anti-recessionary program and the target programs of social and economic development.

In the last year 101,3 % of heat energy was produced and sold. The task on export of production and services was executed for 156 %.

OJSC "Uzbekugol" has produced the coal for 101,3 %.

The decreasing of cost of the manufactured goods by 224,3 bln. sum or by 23,6 % against the plan by 23,3 % was provided, as a result of the undertaken measures with the account of the additionally developed actions.

Investments into production modernization are sufficiently increased: more than in 3,5 times, foreign credits in the volume of 47,04 mln USD and 165,26 mln. USD of Fund of Reconstruction and Development of the Republic were mastered.

703,5 km of 0,4 - 500 kV transmission lines and 1569 th. kVА of transformer capacities of 35 kV and higher voltage were put into operation; the reconstruction of infrastructure in the countryside with replacement of the overloaded 6-10 kV transformers and 0,4 - 6 - 10 kV lines was carried out.

Within the framework of realization of the Program of the major investment projects were put into operation; 500 kV "Uzbekistanskaya" S/S with transformer capacity of 1002 th. kVА, 500 kV overhead transmission line with the extension of 169,4 km from Novo-Angren TPP, 220kV overhead transmission line with the extension of 8,4 km to "Uzgarish" S/S, and all that has provided steady electric power supply of Fergana valley consumers.

It was put into operation the following: 500 kV overhead transmission line "S/S Guzar – S/S Surkhan" with extension of 197,8 km and АТ-2 with the capacity of 501 th. kVА at S/S "Surkhan", that has allowed to increase considerably the reliability of electric power supply of Surkhan-Darya area consumers, and also to increase export deliveries of the electric power in the southern direction.

The construction of 110 kV overhead transmission line "Suvli - Zirabulak" with extension of 57,3 km was carried out with a view of improvement of the electric power supply of gas-compressor station "Zirabulak". 110 kV S/S with transformer capacity 2х25 th. kVА was constructed for external electro supply of free economic zone "Navoi".

Realization of very important projects on construction of 500 kV overhead transmission line "Syr-Darya TPP –"Sogdiana" S/S" and objects of external electric supply of Tashkent city is continued.

Within the framework of the branch program "Year of village development and improvement" 110 kV S/S "Urgut-2" with 100 kV OTL for the improvement of electric supply of Urgut industrial area was constructed in Samarkand area, 110 kV OTL "S/S Gazli – S/S Kurgan" for improvement of gas enterprises electro supply was put into operation in Bukhara area, and also 0,4 - 10 kV OTL (extension 14,7 km) with installation of 10 transformer units with the total capacity of 1360 th. kVА were constructed in 10 districts in Bukhara area.

2,7 thousand kilometers of 35 – 110kV transmission lines was repaired in all regions of the Republic. In total 14,3 bln. sum of company's own means was spent for the realization of the measures directed to the development of the industrial and social infrastructure in the countryside.

Realization of the complex of measures has allowed to create 1246 new workplaces that is 117,5 % as compared to the assignment and the rate of growth is 149,9 %, 645 workplaces from them were created on the base of home work, with the purpose to provide the population employment, growth of income and improvement of well-being.

Realization of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated June 5, 2009 № 150 "About additional measures on improvement of system of the accounting and the control of consumption of electric energy" on implementation of this system with installation of modern metering devices at economic entities and household consumers is carried out.

At the extended session of the board the concrete measures are developed and tasks in power branch for the current year are determined in a view of the major priorities of social and economic development of the Republic for 2010:

Performance of the forecast tasks of the electric power production as compared with 2009 - in volume of 103,3 %, thermal energy supply to consumers is 100 %, export of production and services and delivery of the electric power in the neighboring countries;

Performance of the hard mode of economy, decreasing of running and operating costs of electric and thermal energy;?  

Completion of construction of 500kV OTL "Syr-Darya TPP – S/S   Sogdiana", objects of external electric power supply of Tashkent city, 220kV S/S "Ishtikhan", reconstruction of 500 kV OTL "Syr-Darya TPP –Tashkent S/S";

Activization of works on??    modernization of Tashkent and Navoi TPP's and expansion of Talimardjan TPP with installation of 370 - 400 MW CCPP, conversion of power units №1-5 at Novo- Angren TPP on all-the-year-round burning of coal;

Acceleration of realization of investment projects with?   implementation of detander-generators at Talimardjan and Syr-Darya TPP's, improvement of system of the commercial accounting of the electric power with modern control system;

Expansion of intrabranch and interbranch cooperation, obligatory? performance of tasks under the Program of localization of production;

Creation of 1586 new workplaces, including 506 places on the base of home work;
 
Realization of measures of the branch program "Year of harmoniously advanced generation".
