OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2010. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 1.3% on the year in January 2010 to 9.834 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ Statistics Ministry told.

Industrial output in January increased 2.5% on the year to 10.441 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 5.7% to 1.162 trillion rubles.

In 2009, Belarus’ GDP grew 0.2% on the year to 136.8 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 123.2 trillion rubles, down 2.8% on the year. Farm output increased 1.3% to 26.59 trillion rubles.
