OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. Metinvest’s wholesale sale channel “Metinvest-Ukraine” Company in 2010 will perform as the strategic partner of “Azovmash” OJSC in terms of rolled metal products supplies. This will increase monthly average shipment volumes to Azovmash by 7 times – from 2 thousand tonnes per month in 2008-2009 to 14 thousand tonnes per month in 2010.

82% of the total sales volume will consist of flat products. In addition to that, Metinvest-Ukraine will supply Z-beam, angles, beams and channels to Azovmash. Currently, Azovmash OJSC is the largest Ukrainian consumer of industrial products range from Metinvest Group enterprises.

As Andrey Parhomchuk, the Sales Director of the Steel and Rolled Products Division of Metinvest Holding, LLC, noted: "Domestic market of Ukraine is one of our priorities: core production and sales assets of the Group are located in Ukraine.
