According to the recent release of Motor Sich chief designer Mr.Shankin, the Company is aiming to complete the testing of the MS-500V turbo shaft engine for the Ansat light, multipurpose helicopters in 2010. Initially, engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada were supposed to be installed on this type of helicopters, but later on the designers decided to build a modification of the helicopters with the Motor Sich MS-500V engine mounted due to problems involving the delivery of the engines.

Millennium Capital: this news is strongly positive for the Company. Keeping in mind a stable demand for Ansat helicopters, the initiation of a serial manufacture of engines of this type is to provide a steady stream of new orders for MotorSich.
