OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. According to a recent Azovmash Concern press service release, the Company has signed a contract to deliver a converter with the capacity of 60 tons to the Mittal Steel Annaba metallurgical plant in Algeria by the end of 2010.

This news is undoubtedly positive for Mariupol Heavy Machinery Plant, which is a part of Azovmash Concern. Millennium Capital would like to emphasize that the Company specializes not only in railcars production, but also in heavy machinery manufacture. Since the end of 2009, Millennium Capital has observed a growth in demand for this type of equipment, the main reason of this being a resumption of modernization programs by the Ukrainian steelmakers.
