OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. Russian Federal Space Agency and the Government of Kabardino-Balkaria signed an agreement on cooperation in space technology application for the benefits of the republican economy.

The agreement was signed by the Head of the Republican Government Alexander Merkulov and Vyacheslav Bezborodov, RECOD Corporation DG.

According to Merkulov, the document represents high significance for the republic. "Space scientific achievements will be used to maintain effective economical status, including road traffic security, tracing of seismic environment, mineral resources, agriculture, etc.”, Merkulov says.
