OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has analyzed its performance for the December and 12 months of 2009, and January 2010, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

In December 2009, the company carried 740.6 thousand passengers (including 2.2 thousand by charter), and performed 2,224 million passenger kilometers.

Workload in terms of passenger traffic was 111.2% against the level of 2008. Passenger load factor in December was 4.0% higher than the last year level and amounted to 68.9%.

In the 12 months of 2009, Aeroflot carried 8,755 thousand passengers, and performed 25,986 million passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor was 69.5%, revenue load 55.9%. 

In January 2010, the company flew 784.6 thousand passengers (including 9.3 thousand by charter), and performed 2,428 million passenger kilometers.

Workload in terms of passenger traffic was 123.3% against the level of 2009. Passenger load factor in January was 8.4% higher than last year and amounted to 70.9%.
