Azerbaijani Population Power Charge Dropped to 74,8% in January
OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. The Azerbaijani government says that in January of the year charge from the population totaled only 74.8% versus 97.7 in December (best figure in 2009).
Following the past year the charge made up 88.1%.
This January the best indicators were registered in Shirvan city (98%), Zardab (96.8%) and Gazakh (86%) regions. In Baku where the major part of power consumers is concentrated the charge made up 73.8% in January.
In December 2009 the best indicators were registered in Narimanov district of Baku (140.9%), Samukh (133.9%), and Khizi (129.3%) regions.
As a whole, in Baku where the major part of power consumers is concentrated the charge made up 101.1% in December.
In 2009 the charge leaders were Hajigabul district (106.9%), Shirvan city (106.4%) and Zardab region (104.6%), while charge in Baku totaled 90.1%.
Power charge by over 100% of consumed electricity cost is linked with repayment of previous power debts.
