OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. On-line voting on Travel.ru portal named Moscow Domodedovo Airport a prize winner of the annual travel award ‘Zvezda.Travel.ru’ the third time in nomination ‘ Best Russian Airport’.

A unique consumer prize in the field of travel has been awarded for seven years. More than 9 thousand Internet users participated to the voting 2009. In its nomination Moscow Domodedovo Airport once again left far behind other nominees. Russian travelers named the best foreign airport as well – Singapore Changi Airport.

Domodedovo partner airlines were awarded too.

The third time Singapore Airlines has been named the best air carrier operating South-East Asia, Pacific basin countries and Australia destinations. The fifth year in a row Emirates has become the winner of Zvezda.Travel.ru for flights operated to the Middle East and Asia. Lufthansa confirmed its last year award and leadership on routes to Europe, South and Central America. For the first time Transaero has won the prize for services to Continental Africa and the fourth time the airline has been awarded as the best charter airline.
