OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. On March 17-18, 2010 the 4th international conference "Waste Recycling" will be conducted in "Lenexpo" in the framework of the X International Forum "Ecology of the Big City".  The event is organized by JSC "Lenexpo" and "Waste recycling" magazine in assistance with the Russian association of waste recycling.

The concept of development for the Russian Federation till 2020 contains the creation of efficient waste utilization industry. But a number of technical problems still appear due to the lack of financial support and official State and Regional programs on waste management. This sphere has no stimulus for development; and there are no landfills which meet the legislation requirements. There are no documents for the landfill territories. There is a desperate need for specialized sorting, recycling, utilization, disinfecting and neutralizing equipment. These and many other problems will be discussed in "Lenexpo".

Preliminary conference topics are: "Landfills: from research to revegetation", "Waste sorting complexes. Sorting equipment.", "Recycling equipment for industrial and residential wastes", "Salvage products manufacturing and application". German company BRT Recycling Technologie GmbH will participate in the conference for the second time. They will demonstrate the presentation "Autonomous complex of automation sorting of residential solid waste- beneficial recycling".

Here are some comments about the previous event.

- We learnt about the conference "Waste Recycling" in St. Petersburg in the internet and do not regret about our visit. - This conference has one significant advantage - the organizers work with a special target group: enterprises and organizations working with residential solid wastes. The conference is usually attended by the specialists and directors, interested in the technologies and equipment for solid waste recycling. - We regard this conference as the indicator of new tendencies in the Russian recycling idnustry which is currently arising.  One of our new projects will be demonstrated together with the Russian Red Cross at St. Petersburg Conference in 2010.
