OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 witnesses the completion of works directed to the construction of the concrete blend of the upper part of the footing of the steam turbine. This is the next stage in the realisation of the top-priority direction of the investment project of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”- construction of power block No.1 of “Krasnoyarskaya CPH-3” branch.

Works were carried out in the machine room of the main building at the height of nearly 12 meters. They carried out more than 50 mixer trips, which brought the concrete blend to the construction site. The works were carried out with the help of the concrete pumps, constantly and round the clock. The concrete blend was set by layers by immersion vibrators to make it solid.

For the construction of the footing they used the high-density concrete of B25 class. The use of the certain type of the concrete is regulated by the amount of load on the footing. The footing made out of B25 concrete can carry out the static load of the turbine and generator of the total weight of 900 tones (the specific load is 350 kilogram-force/cm2) and the dynamic load together with the constantly working turbo-aggregate. The total amount of the laid concrete is 306.9 m3. To provide the constant works the personnel worked in the tree-shift regime. The amount of costs for the carried out works accounted for more than RUR 6 million.

During one month since the moment the blend was laid the concrete should become 100% solid. After this they plan to start the works directed to the installation of Т185/220-12,8-2 (Т185/220-12,8-2 ) turbine and TZFP 220-2U3 (Т3ФП 220-2У3) generator.

Note: The construction of power block No.1 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 is the top priority investment project of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”. Its realization is directed to satisfy the Krasnoyarsk city consumers’ demand in the heat recourses, as well as the increase of the reliability of work of the power system of the region in general. The electric capacity of the power block is 185 mW in the heat-extraction mode (220 mW - in the condensation regime), the heat capacity is 270 Gcal/h. At present Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 works in the regime of the boiler. The station does not have the electric capacity and the installed heat capacity is 442 Gcal/h.
