OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2010. The number of tanks prepared at the Achinsk Washing and Steaming Station (WSS) in Krasnoyarsk Territory grew by 41% to 44,500 tanks in the period from June to December 2009. The station has seen steady growth in its workload since June 2009, when Freight One signed a deal to rent it on a long-term investment basis.

In developing the operational business of the Achinsk WSS, Freight One began a project to control the quality of tank preparation under a contract with OAO Vostokneftetrans in late 2009. The agreement gives the technicians of the Achinsk WSS the right to accept tanks prepared by the WSS at Skovorodino Station in Amur Region. Additionally, highly qualified Freight One technicians are providing consulting support to Vostokneftetrans technicians. All the tanks accepted by the employees of the Achinsk WSS are being used on Skovorodino — Kozmino route, which is part of the ESPO project.

The Achinsk WSS is mostly involved in providing services specified by RZD’s (Russian Railways’) current technological standards: preparing tanks for loading with light and dark petroleum products, cold washing, preparing tanks for repairs and hot steaming.
