OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2010. Revenues in 2009 went down by 2.4 billion leis (71% of the total amount) in comparison with the year of 2008, it was informed at the Ministry of Finance.

The state budget revenues for the first 9 months of 2009 totaled 9.6 billion leis (71% of the total amount), in the IV quarter – 3.9 billion leis (29% of the total amount). The 2009-takings plan was fulfilled by the Chief State Tax Inspection at 99.8% - 4.3 billion leis, the Customs Service – at 105.9% - with 7.7 billion leis accumulated. For 9 months of 2009, the Chief State Tax Inspection collected 3.2 billion leis to the budget (74.4 percent of the total amount), in the IV quarter – 1.1 billion leis (25.5%).

The Customs Service collected 5.4 billion leis (70.1%) to the budget for 9 months, and in the IV quarter – 2.33 billion leis (29.9%). The average daily payments to the budget in 2009 totaled 45.3 million leis, down 9.2 million leis in comparison with 2008. For the first 9 months, this indicator was 49.6 million leis, in the IV quarter – 49.6 million leis.

According to the Ministry of Finance’s data, budget expenditure in 2009 totaled 17.2 billion leis or 96.4 percent of the planned indicators. In comparison with the year of 2008, expenditures in 2009 grew by 733.4 million leis (4.5%). Expenditure for 9 months of 2009 totaled 11.6 billion leis (67.4% of the total amount), in the IV quarter – 5.6 billion leis (32.6%).
