OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. The president of Irkut Corporation Oleg Demchenko is chosen as the chairman of Board of directors of JSC "Aviastar-SP".

Such decision was made at the meeting of the renewed Board of directors of the Ulyanovsk aviation factory which has taken place on January, 28th, 2010.

Earlier the meeting of shareholders of JSC "Aviastar-SP", selected enterprise Board of directors on January, 28th, 2010:

- Demchenko Oleg Fedorovich, the President of Irkut, the Senior vice-president of "UAC" of commercial aircraft;

- Livanov Victor Vladimirovich, the Senior vice-president of a division of military and military-transport aviation technics of Irkut, the General director of JSC "Il";

- Morozov Sergey Ivanovich, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region;

- Polevshchikov Denis Vitalevich, the Vice-president of the corporate finance of Irkut;

- Prutkovsky Vasily Borisovich, the Vice-president on corporate development and "UAC" management;

- Romanovsky Roman Viktorovich, the head of Department of investments planning and technical development of Irkut Corporation;

- Smolko Vladimir Viktorovich, the Vice-president of a division of civil aviation technics of Irkut Corporation;

- Chirikov Vladimir Lvovich, the Senior vice-president – the Chief executive officer of Irkut Corporation;

- Shushpanov Michael Nikolaevich, the General director of JSC "Aviastar-SP".

Following committees of Board of directors are defined at the meeting:

- budget committee (the chairman - Chirikov V. L);

- staff and compensations committee (the chairman - Smolko V.V.);

- audit committee (the chairman - Prutkovsky Century Б).

Oleg Demchenko said: "Election of new Board of directors of "Aviastar-SP" is a continuation of a major work on formation of the "UAC – Commercial planes" division on the basis of Irkut Corporation".
