OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. Russian Agricultural Bank and the Association of Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia (Association) signed General Cooperation Agreement, reported the press-centre of RusAg.

The parties will cooperate in the framework of implementation of the Federal Program on Agribusiness Development 2008-2012. The Cooperation Agreement is also aimed at promoting implementation of the special federal program “Social rural development till 2010” and special sector program “Development of pilot family dairy farms on the basis of peasant (farm) households in 2009-2011”.

The cooperation between RusAg and the Association will facilitate lending to farms, personal household plots owners and agricultural consumer cooperatives.

The Bank will further increase the scale of lending to SMEs involved in agribusiness. This will be one of the priorities of RusAg’s activity in 2010.
