Klaipeda Port Attended Belarusian-Lithuanian Business Forum
OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. Statistics Specialist of the Marketing Department Arturas Gaidauskas attended Belarusian-Lithuanian Economic Investment Business Forum which was held in Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (Gedimino ave. 3, Vilnius), reported the press-centre of Klaipeda Port.
The present business forum was organized by Lithuanian Development Agency and Enterprise Lithuania together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Lithuania.
The event was organized to discuss the issues of bilateral economic and investment cooperation and Lithuanian business experience in Belarus. The Forum was divided in two parts – the first part included presentations on general investment climate in Belarus, tax policy, customs union, investment incentives and benefits practiced in Belarus, possibilities of Lithuanian companies to participate in privatisation projects; the second part of the forum consisted of themed discussions in groups: (1) Investments into real estate sector in Belarus: practical aspects, (2) Cooperation in transport and logistics. Attracting investments to develop logistics centres and (3) Cooperation in tourism service industry.
