OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. ROSNO's Krasnodar branch has won an open tender for the right to provide obligatory motor third party insurance coverage for the transport vehicles owned by the State Scientific Institution "V.S. Pustovoit Russian National Research Institute for Oil-Yielding Crops" by the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Following the results of the open tender, the branch has concluded a public contract covering motor third party liability for 55 vehicles belonging to the abovementioned research institution. The major portion of the motor fleet, which is mainly used for tilling, sowing, cultivation and harvesting, is comprised by trucks and tractors. Presently, the aggregate area of agricultural lands used by the V.S. Pustovoit Russian National Research Institute for Oil-Yielding Crops is as much as 29.0 thousand ha.

The aggregate insurance amount under the concluded contract is 22,000,000 roubles. The insurance period is 1 year. Along with ROSNO, three more insurers had participated in the tender.
