OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2010. Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov and State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Bundestag Deputy Cornelia Pieper discussed a bilateral cooperation at a meeting on Wednesday.

Cornelia Pieper informed Mr. Sultanov about the upcoming events in the framework of the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan, in particular, reported that the Day of innovation is scheduled.

Carnelia Pieper also said the Germanic businesses are interested in the investing in Kazakhstan's economy. “And it is not just about big business, but also about the average level of enterprises,” she said.

The official opening of the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan will be held on Wednesday in Astana. Carnelia Pieper headed the Germany's delegation, which arrived in Kazakhstan on this occasion.
