ASB Became Currency Trading Leader of 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2010. The Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (Azeri acronym: BBVB) has summed up results of banks’ activities in its trading system for the past year.
BBVB informs that following 2009 domestic bank became the currency trading leader in 2009 and 10.06% of BBVB turnover fell on its share.
“Besides the leader, TOP 5 also included Bank Respublika (9.64%), International Bank of Azerbaijan (7.85%), Bank Standard (5.63%) and UniBank (4.87%),” the Exchange said.
Statistics does not take into account deals of Central Bank of Azerbaijan. In the previous few years the position of absolute leader belonged to the IBA.
