IDGC of North-West Participated at Conference in Great Britain
OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2010. Alexander Kukhmay, General Director of IDGC of North-West and Sergey Gubich, Director of “Kolenergo” branch took part on the international conference devoted to the issues of the transmission and distribution of the electric power and the grids construction. The conference was carried out in Great Britain at the end of January.
The organizer of the conference was UK Trade & Investment, British Governmental Organization. Within the framework of the international conference they carried out the broad exchange of the opinions concerning the issues of the modern condition of the electric power and future plans of development of the branch in the world. The special attention was paid to Great Britain’s experience in this field.
A highly topical program included the carrying out of the sessions, presentations of the companies and business meetings in the face to face format. The participants also attended the enterprises which produce the equipment for the fuel and power complex and the power objects. Specialists had the possibility to get the maximum of information they were interested in as well as exchange the opinions and make new business contacts.
“We would like to mention the professionalism of the conference organizers who are very experienced and respected experts in English electric power. The conference presented the great opportunity to settle the business contacts and we worked it out well,” said Alexander Kukhmay, speaking about the results of the business trip to London. The costs were fully paid by UK Trade & Investment, British Governmental Organization.
“British companies are very interested in Russia. They are present at our market, but less than the Chinese and Korean producers”, said Alexander Kukhmay. “English producers are very interested in Russian market and are ready to supply the innovation products to us.”
