OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2010. Based on YE2009 results Russian Agricultural Bank was ranked 4 among 100 largest banks of the Russian Federation in terms of assets and capital, according to the recent banking ranking by Interfax, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

RusAg also holds the leading positions among 10 largest banks in Interfax ranking in terms of growth rates of assets (by 17.31%) and capital (by 71.1%), demonstrated in 2009.

In 2009, Russian Agricultural Bank extended loans totaling RUR 445 billion. The Bank’s loan portfolio grew by 31% and reached RUR 612 billion by YE2009.

In terms of loan portfolio growth rates the Bank was number 1 among the largest Russian banks. Russian Agricultural Bank was the only bank in Russia that demonstrated monthly growth of loan portfolio throughout 2009.
