OREANDA-NEWS. February 05, 2010. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has begun drilling several wells at its offshore fields.

SOCAR reports that Trust of Complex Drilling Works started drilling well #655 at Platform #660 on Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) field. Its design depth is 1,510 m and expected debit 7-8 tons of oil a day. Drilling of well #723 with design depth 1,490 m and expected debit of 7-8 tons a day at platform #340.

Drilling of well #712 with depth of 900 m to produce debit of 6 tons after its commissioning was finished at the field up to date.
