OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2010. Belarus’ beer output decreased 4.6% on the year in January-December 2009 to 33.6 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee.

In value terms, beer output totaled 682.9 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), down 11.8%.

In December, beer output amounted to 2.5 million decaliters, up 10.4% on the year. In value terms, beer production fell 18.5% to 47.1 billion rubles.

Beer inventories were at 1 million decaliters as of January 1, 2010, up 6.3% on the year, or 36.2% of the average monthly output.

Beer sale increased 6.3% on the year in 2009 to 26.485 million decalite
